INTRODUCTION – WHO WE ARE
The Institute established by the Memon Educational & Welfare Society, Mumbai, is managed by Bombay Memon’s Education Society, both registered under Societies Registration Act 1860, and Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950. As a society, we strive to uplift the minority community by way of Education.
The objective of starting the Industrial Training Institute is to provide a higher standard of Technical Education to students, using appropriate and contemporary teaching methods. This would lie within the new framework of education that shall prepare a multidisciplinary student, who can rank higher in education, technically competent, morally confident, capable of facing life without sacrificing moral values.
Our well-illuminated and ventilated institute has spacious classrooms and labs. Our workshops are well-equipped with contemporary machinery and computer centers. The environment at our institute is lively and refreshing due to a variety of trees, shrubs, bushes, and plants.
We believe that every child is unique, equipped with skills, whether apparent or latent. Based on skill sets, areas of interest and aptitude, a child is inclined to be making a choice as to which mode of education should be pursued.
A number of children have creative instincts are very comfortable when working with their hands to give shape to their concepts. It is the creative energy of this segment that is sought to be harnessed, honed and refined by the provision of a higher standard of Technical Education.
We trust that in the coming years, a new generation of trained and competent individuals shall emerge, who shall make available their skill to the citizenry, trade and industry.
